Badminton & Fencing
PAST HONDA SPORT AWARD WINNERS FOR BADMINTON & FENCING
During the latter years of AIAW governance of women’s intercollegiate athletics, the original Broderick Awards program recognized Sport Award winners in Badminton (1977–1982) and Fencing (1981-82). Following the dissolution of the AIAW, the NCAA did not sanction national championships in these sports beginning in the 1982–83 academic year, and as a result, the Broderick Awards discontinued recognition of both.
